I just purchased (at auction on Ebay) a ProDesk 400 G% SFF. To set it up, I connected it to a VGA monitor. It did not have a HD, so I placed a securely erased Samsung SSD in the machine and installed Windows 10 Pro. Everything seemed to go well. I even used HPs Support Assistant to update everything including the BIOS.
I then connected the computer to an HDMI Monitor with a cable having a Display Port connection at one end and an HDMI Port at the other. The result? "No Signal" (I know the monitor is working as I use it with another computer). I changed cables. Still No Signal. I tried with a television receiver through the HDMI port. No Signal.
I've looked through the BIOS Q08 ver. 02.16.00 dated 04/16/2021 to see if there is a way to disable/enable the Display Port. Apparently, there is no such switch.
Frankly, I can not properly use this machine for my purposes if it can not use the Display Port. Any ideas or suggestions would be wonderful.
