Product: HP Compaq 6005 Pro Small Form Factor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Compaq 6005 Pro SFF desktop keeps displaying Error 513 - front chassis fan not detected, yet the front chassis fan is running, at higher than usual speed -it is normally  a quiet fan.  Have to press the F1 key to start Windows 10.

 

Tried replacing the motherboard several times now, the ones sold online (eBay, Amazon) have the same defect, these seem to be refurbished units, had to return all three ordered recently. 

 

The same condition happened once before, replaced fan and it still ran at high speed; replaced the motherboard and it was fixed.

 

Don't know how to order a new (not refurbished) HP motherboard .
