Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

The other day I was on my laptop, walked away for about 15 minutes and it wasn't loading pages.  I tried restarting it and now it's a black screen.  I've tried everything with no luck.  No it's still under manufacturers warranty I contacted Allstate who I have a protection plan with and they told me to contact HP.  With me not being able to get the screen turned on I can't get the serial number I've tried to get the bottom off with no luck also It does not have a removable battery.  I'm scared if I keep trying to pull the back off I'm going to break it somehow.  So after this long obnoxious paragraph of me going on and on, The question is how do I find my serial number without the paperwork because of course I can't find that either.  Thank you so much in advance
