So initially my windows would boot but something happened to the recovery media in the original drive and it won't detect. I tried many ways to try and recover the PC to no success. I think I may need to order a recovery media at this point.
According to parts surfer the part no. is likely 821227-001. But I can't order that anywhere. I tried to make a recovery media when windows was still operational but now it won't even boot and the recovery through media keeps on failing.
I could just go ahead and install a fresh copy made from the bootable windows 10 iso, but I'm a stickler for OEM media and want to stay with an OEM HP Windows 10 as much as possible. Any help?
The laptop is also out of warranty.
