the touchscreen on my HP envy x360 stopped working suddenly one day. This happened following a windows 10 update i believe. The display works just fine.

Device specifications says : No pen or touch input is available for this display, but i know for a fact that this is not correct as i have used the touch before. For some reason the system does not recognize the touchscreen input. I cant see any drivers for the touch screen. i have tried rolling back windows 10, windows 11, troubleshooting the drivers etc. I have also tried the system and components test in the hardware diagnostics menu..but again there is no option to test touch.

also there is this driver which needs a fix but again not able to fix it...

please find a fix.
