HP Recommended

I currently have a 2015 MacBookAir. Until recently I used my 32f display as a second monitor. I used a j5create USB adapter to connect it. However, last week my monitor went blank. The HDMI 1& 2, AND VGA say inactive. I know it's not my hdmi cable nor my computer because I connected it to a different monitor and it works perfectly fine. Any suggestions of what the problem could be?
