HP Recommended

So I downloaded the new update and at first it was stuck on the hp black logo with the dots going in a circle  but it continued doing that for an hour and I decided to just leave it on while I sleep. Now that it is morning it's still going around. Here's where things get difficult, I did a bios recovery and it returned an error code. Now I don't know what to do.
