Product: OMEN by HP 15-dc1011na

Hi,

    I own a HP omen 15-dc1011na laptop. Since the 21H2 update from Nov 2021, I am having audio issues. The volume automatically decreases. Then suddenly the right speaker will become louder than the left speaker. I upgraded my operating system to win 11, still the same problem persists. 

 

Switching to generic audio driver provided by windows did solve the imbalance in the left and right speaker, however the volume is still low, and the audio quality is also poor, since it is not the original Realtek driver.

 

I already tried installing various audio drivers from hp support website for my model, tried to find latest driver using various driver updating software. I even went back to Win 10, Then I updated Bios to latest F.25 as is available in HP support website, came back to windows 11. Windows updates are fully installed. Nothing works.

 

I am having the issue for the past one year. Searching the internet, I find that there are many users who are complaining about the Realtek audio issues in Omen HP 15-dc0xxx and many other Omen models with uneven audio. I could see their problems are not solved at all.

Is there a solution for the problem? Will HP take action regarding the situation and provide proper Realtek drivers for the updated windows versions?
