Product: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b1000 IDS Base Model

Omen 16 is not connecting to External monitors via thunderbolt. But works fine with a HDMI cable. 
I have seen some posts which were trying to address this including the register edits. I couldnt follow them as i didnt find the register field which was required to be inverted. So any help will be appreciated.
