Hello,
Having issue with laptop (HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15t-eb100) somehow either not recognizing its NVMe or BSODing with "DRIVER PNP WATCHDOG" both when trying to boot normally and on attempting Windows re-install. Have already tried re-loading storage drivers via USB when booting to Windows install media, the result of this is that it either BSODs or successfully loads the drivers but still does not list the NVMe.
Also tried resetting BIOS and then ran all HP hardware diagnostics according to these instructions: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Driver-PNP-WATCHDOG-on-Windows-... ...but diags reported no issues.
Already contacted HP sales and tech support. Sales advised they could not extend warranty or offer any kind of service plan following warranty's expiration. Tech support advised they could only assist with Windows issues.
This first started happening after an attempted install of Windows 11, so is this a known irresolvable problem as per here?: https://www.reddit.com/r/spectrex360/comments/y6ldab/do_not_update_to_22h2_bsod_errors_on_11th_gen/
I was very surprised to learn from HP that we have no other recourse here, so very much highly appreciate any assistance/insight.
Thanks,
R
