Product: HP Notebook - 14s-dq0500sa

I have been using my Blue Yeti microphone with my laptop just fine (HP note book 14s-dq0500sa}. Recently it does not pick up the mic, even when using Audacity App. I checked with the Sound as per the Blue Yeti Mic troubleshooting) . Apparently the  mic has to appear under Programs Events and it does not appear in there. How to I go about this, so that the laptop can pick up the mic again like before?
