Hi, The fans on my HP z440 are running high and loud.
I set them to minimum in bios but they still end up running high.
My z440 configuration.
Xeon 1660v4
64gb ( 4 x 16gb ) 2133p HP memory
Intel 670p 2tb Nvme SSD
NO other hard drives installed
Open Side panel on case to let in cool air
CPU fan and rear case fan installed. Front case fan was removed.
NO Memory fan installed
CPU has NEW Thermal paste applied
700watt Power supply original HP
Nvidia GT 730 graphics card powered by PCIe slot
No other PCI cards installed
All HP and Microsoft updates, Firmware, Bios update, and patches installed
Microsoft Win-10 Pro
CPU Idles at 0-3%
Memory usage is 8gb in use 56gb available
SSD activity is minimum
Run fine it just the fans run high after about 5 minutes of use.
