I bought HP Victus 6-e0xxx on dec 2021 and its been just over a year and a half and my laptop frame at the bottom of the screen around my right side suddenly showed crack once. After 5-6 days the crack started growing and is reaching my screen now. Whenever I try to open the laptop or close it the 2 sections formed by the crack makes a popping sound which is further increasing the crack. The laptop hasn't been dropped and has been used with care throughout as it's my first laptop. As I have read other posts in the community it's a common issue with the hinges and the frame around it cracking open for not able to support the pressure. Whenever I try to open or close the laptop one part of the crack starts sitting on top of the other. I have to manually press one side back to open or close it. I would like to know what will be the repairing costs and whether the crack on the frame can make some internal damage as well. Since the picture I've posted it has increased even more. I had previously neglected it believing it to be a small crack but now that it's reaching my screen, I'm panicking. I am out of warranty period and would appreciate some advice.
