HP Recommended

In clearing a paper jam from my Envy 6000 printer, I needed to remove the flip gate to get the last bit of paper out. These components seem simple, but I'm having trouble reinstalling the flip gate and the plastic roller piece that goes behind it.  The paper jam instructions helpfully say not to remove the flip gate - so now what?

 

Help!  I haven't seen an answer on the HP discussions.
