Hi, I am a System Admin for the company i work for. We purchase HP Products (ie Elitebooks\ZBooks) When purchasing these products in the past we also purchase the cube docking stations Thunderbolt G2-G3 models. My VP of I.T. decided the price was to expensive and to look for an alternative for docking station use. I found and purchase several docks with USB_C connections. After using these for some time, now i'm running into an issue where they are causing problems, For instance (Connected but not charging the battery, One or More monitors stop working, No network connection, external camera is intermittent) the list goes on and on. When looking in device manager I see this error in UCM ( UCM-UCSI ACPI Device Error 43) I searched google for a resolve and so far nothing has worked for me. The laptops are Elitebook 840 G9 Win10 Pro 64bit ver22H2 build 19045.3636
Has anyone else run into this? If so what was your solution to resolving this? any assistance is appreciated.
