Hi there,
My touch pad stopped working recently. I checked the device manager and i see "
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
A request for the HID descriptor failed.
" inside I2C hid driver which has a yellow caution symbol below. I tried updating my os from windows 10 to windows 11 and even after updating, still touch pad is not working. I checked my touch pad in UEFI firmware and i find my touch pad is working there which concludes that there is not hardware issue. I tried almost all the methods which was already available for this issue. Still no luck.
When I try to update, it says it's already updated
I also updated my bios, also factory reset my bios. nothing works. currently i am managing with external mouse. But I've been a touch pad user for years. kindly help me to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance. Also please let me know if u need further information.
