Product: HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Small Form Factor PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I bought a HP 705 G4 SFF (Ryzen 2400G, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SATA SSD) and I'd like to upgrade the PSU from the stock 180W to at least 240W so I can use a 75W low profile GPU in the PCIe ×16 slot. I found a very similar looking 240W PSU online (part nr PS-4241-1HC) that simply states it's compatible with a 705 SFF, but I don't know if the generation is important. Could I simply swap this into my PC? Or is there a different part I can swap in? I know it's not officially supported, but I can't be the first one to try.
Thanks in advance!
