Hello! I have a problem updating my BIOS to the latest version on my HP Victus laptop. While running tests in HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Center I have stumbled upon an issue with my BIOS version. Currently my BIOS version is F. 14 and the latest for my laptop shown at HP support page is F.16 Rev.A. When I try to update bios using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Center I receive 'CANCELLED' status even though I've agreed to perform an update.
Then I tried to Install the latest BIOS version from HP support page mentioned earlier, but as a result I got this error:
I have 350 GB of free space on my C: drive, so I don't get where the issue is coming from. My guess is that it tries to install BIOS on some other partition like FAT32, but increasing it's size is problematic. Is there any simpler way to get the latest BIOS version?
