Product: HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook PC

Hello everyone, 

I haven't really used my HP Elitebook 840 G7 in over a year, and during this period, the few times that I used it I noticed that the speakers dont emit any sound. Now I need to use my laptop more and I want to fix the issue. I have used all the onboard test and it tells me that everything is fine, I installed all the updates, both from the HP Support System and from the Windows 11 OS, restarted the computer, but still no sound. I suspect it's a software/driver issue because as far as I can remember I never damaged my laptop, especially not the speakers. I would greatly appreciate your help, thank you in advance,
