AFter a windows 11 update in September 2024 I lost access to my laptop keyboard and any other USB or wireless keyboard. The USB ports were working and could detect a usb and wireless mouse and usb disk storage. My on board touch mouse pad continued to work.
I installed a repair version of windows 11 and got back my usb and wireless keyboards but not my laptop keyboard.
I have tried all the recommended actions in device manager and via HP tools.
But windows 11 will not detect the onboard Keyboard
The laptop keyboard works when in BIOS and all keys are detected. but not in windows 11 mode.
I can find no reference to a specific driver for the onboard keyboard when I access the HP drivers for my computer. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this problem. Can somebody help.
what is the driver name for keyboard thanks Jeff
