Many users reporting failure to charge over USB-C when the laptop is upgraded to Bios VersionU71 Ver. 01.12.01
Laptop will suddenly stop charging (my experience has been when users unplug from power, work, then go to plug back in) with the only "fix" by doing a power reset:
- Unplug any USB-C peripherals
- Shut the computer down
- Press and hold the power button for 45-60 seconds
- Turn the computer back on
- Plug power back in
