Product: HP EliteOne 800 G5 23.8-inch All-in-One RCTO Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

 

I recently downloaded and installed the latest Windows 11 24H2 version and now I don’t have sound. It appears that the sound driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.

I tried everything, including deleting and reinstalling the driver,  trying to find a different driver on HP’s support website, troubleshooting with windows troubleshooter or HP Support Assistant. Nothing worked. 
I chatted with Microsoft support for a couple of hours to no avail. 
I use the computer for work and can’t afford not having sound. I need it for meetings etc. 

I would appreciate any help. 

 The computer model is HP EliteOne 800 G5 23.8-inch All-in-One. The driver is HP Synaptics, version 8.65.317.104. Driver date: 7/5/21.
