HP ProBook 450 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (4D3X2AV)

I have a problem where my HP laptop with the latest version of Windows 11 freezes on the Wolf Security logo when I hit restart while it is connected to my HP P34hc G4 hub/monitor.

 

This also occurs when I first start it up at the beginning of the day.

 

To start it up normally, I need to force it to turn off by holding the power button and then restart it (while still connected to the dock). Only then does it start up normally.

 

i tried to:

- update all the driver (from the dock and the laptop)

- change to a different laptop. 

- change to different monitor/hub.

- i tried disconnecting all other usb devices (i dont use a power cord since i use USB-C charging from the monitor/hub)

 

system/device info:

- windows 11 busines

- version 22H2

- HP Probook 450 15.6 inch G9 Notebook
