Product: Samsung ProXpress SL-M4580FX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi,
I’ve recently replaced the hard drive in a Samsung ProXpress M4580FX printer after the original one failed.
I downloaded the firmware file Samsung_M458x_Series_V5.H6.00.hds from the HP website and placed it on a FAT32-formatted USB stick, but the printer shows “File not found in USB” when trying to recover the system.
Is there a complete recovery package available for HDD replacement? I’ve read that the recovery process also requires two Unix script files in addition to the .hds firmware file.
Any help or link to the full recovery set would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
