I received my scanner and have set everything up on my laptop. (I have a dual camera setup but have only setup a single camera at this point (DAVID-CAM-4-M)). I also have a turntable and have set that up.
Desktop is set to 'Extend'.
I installed the software from the USB flash drive and re-booted... all went fine.
When I first went to start the software, an HP rebranding dialog popped up and I clicked OK. Then a dialog popped up that said there is a later version 5.2. I chose to install it and it downloaded and installed just fine (it put the new files into the David folder that was created upon original install). I then re-booted again.
When I went to start the software, it started and displayed the interface. It recognized the camera and the projector is displaying the pattern and the interface was showing the camera output.
I continued to read the instructions and watch tutorials to learn how to setup and calibrate. When I looked back at the interface, it said the camera had failed... or something like that. I tried to use the button to turn the camera OFF and then ON but the interface seemed frozen. I killed the process.
Then I tried several times to start the software again. Each time I try to start the software now, the program is shown on the taskbar but the interface is not displayed on the screen. As I try to click the taskbar button, the interface is not displayed.
If I look in Task Manager, it shows:
HP 3D Scan - Projection Window Running
HP 3D Scan Pro 5.2.1 Running
If I try to 'Switch To' these programs, they are not displayed on the screen.
All this time, the pattern is displayed from the projector. I can not get the software interface to display on screen.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Thanks!
Mike

OK, I got it sorted.
The scan software interface window was reduced to nothing in size and off screen. If I Maximized the window, it would appear onscreen. If I Restored the window it would disappear. I used the window Move function to get the window resized and back on screen.
Thanks anyway!
