Hi @Kyoka1, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 is stuck on a black screen, like it's fallen into a deep sleep 😴 before even showing the HP logo. And to make matters worse, it's not responding to anything after the battery drained. Let's try some gentle but firm steps to try and wake it up and see if we can get it back to life. ☀️ We'll use a step-by-step, sensory-focused approach to try and revive your laptop from this unresponsive state. 💻➡️😊

If your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 is stuck on a blank screen 🥶 and won't respond after the battery went flat, let's try these steps to gently persuade it to power back on. Think of it like gently nudging a sleepy friend to wake up! 😉Let's try the following troubleshooting steps:

Power Reset

  1. Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power adapter.
  2. If the battery is removable, take it out.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the battery (if removed) and power adapter.
  5. Try turning it on.

Hard Reset Using Key Combination

  1. Turn off the laptop completely.
  2. Press and hold Windows + B keys.
  3. While holding them, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding Windows + B.
  4. If the BIOS recovery screen appears, follow the instructions.

External Display Test

  1. Connect your laptop to an external monitor using an HDMI cable.
  2. Turn it on and see if anything appears on the external display.
  3. If it works, your screen might be faulty.

Boot into Safe Mode

  1. Force shutdown the laptop by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
  2. Turn it on and immediately start pressing F8 or Shift + F8 repeatedly.
  3. If you get the "Advanced Startup Options" screen, select Safe Mode and try diagnosing the issue.

CMOS Reset (If Possible)

If the laptop has a small pinhole reset button (usually at the bottom), press it using a pin for about 10-15 seconds. Then, try booting again.

Bootable USB Recovery

If none of the above works, create a Windows 11 bootable USB using another computer:

  1. Download Windows 11 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website.
  2. Use it to create a bootable USB.
  3. Plug the USB into your HP laptop and turn it on while pressing F9 to select boot device.
  4. Choose the USB drive and attempt Startup Repair or reinstall Windows.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day. ☀️💻😊
