Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa2000 (A8VY1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently purchased an HP Victus 7445 HS (Intel Core 7 13th Gen, RTX 4050) and have been experiencing a series of display and stability issues since day one. I'm reporting this while still within the return/replacement window. Timeline of issues: 1. Day 1 - Charger plug/unplug flicker: Screen flickers for 2-3 seconds whenever the charging cable is plugged or unplugged. 2. Day 1 - OMEN Gaming Hub update blackout: After updating the OMEN app for the first time, the screen went completely black for a few seconds, twice in a row. 3. Day 2 - Screen corruption during gameplay: While launching and playing Watch Dogs 2, the screen displayed severe pixelated/blocky visual corruption across the display. 4. Day 2 - Flickering specifically on game launch: The screen now flickers consistently every time a GPU-intensive game (Watch Dogs 2) tries to open. 5. Day 2 - Repeated unexpected shutdowns: Windows Reliability Monitor shows 3 separate "Windows was not properly shut down" critical events in a single day, including one at 6:02 PM that closely overlaps with a gaming/crash session. Troubleshooting already completed (all without resolution): - Verified game files via Ubisoft Connect (no corruption found) - Cleared Ubisoft Connect cache and re-logged in - Updated NVIDIA GPU driver to the latest version via the NVIDIA app - Checked Windows Event Viewer Application logs (no clear faulting module found for the crashes) - Confirmed RAM is running in single-channel mode (1 of 2 SODIMM slots populated, 16GB, 3200 MT/s) - noting this in case it's relevant to overall system stability - Disabled/re-enabled HAGS (Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling) Given the consistency and severity of these symptoms (screen corruption + flicker specifically under GPU load, plus repeated hard crashes) on a laptop that is only 2 days old, I believe this points to a hardware issue - possibly a defective GPU, a loose display/GPU connection, or a power delivery problem under load - rather than something further software troubleshooting can resolve. I would like to request a technician inspection, repair, or replacement under warranty. I'm happy to provide screenshots/photos of the corruption, Reliability Monitor logs, and Event Viewer details if needed. Please let me know the next steps. Thank you

Return it under the return and replacement policy, contact the seller and explains all these issues
