Hi,

My keyboard has always worked fine but recently the up and down arrows keep freezing.

Any ideas?

Hi @PacificPeter,

Welcome to the HP support community.

If your HP laptop's up and down arrow keys aren't working, the most likely culprit is an activated "Scroll Lock" function; try checking if Scroll Lock is on by pressing Fn + Scroll Lock on your keyboard, then restart your computer to see if the issue is resolved.

For further assistance, kindly share your product's model name or serial number over a private message as we value your privacy.

Hi,

I have found out that it is actually a Bios issue but thanks for your reply.
