sp36104 is not a BIOS update.

This is the description of the file:

HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36104.html

It would help if you posted the full model number or product number of the PC you want to update the BIOS in.

Most HP PCs that would be using an old Softpaq such as sp36xxx have been retired from support and the driver pages may not be available anymore.

Hello Paul, Firstly, thank you for your time. I appreciate that.
You are correct. In my pile of notes I wrote the wrong SP info as you have rightly explained. I wasted a very long time going round in circles with HP without getting the simple help of a download URL for a legacy HP PC project. The quest was that my BIOS in the XP PC was 1.06 and for a better graphics card performance I was looking for the later 1.10. I have now found it by good fortune and I have updated the PC.  My apology to you and any others confused by my message: the result of much frustration pure and simple.

You're very welcome.

Glad you were able to find the BIOS update you needed.

Cheers,

Paul
