The HP AI Companion is designed to work optimally with internet connectivity, allowing it to access updates and utilize AI-driven functionalities that may require cloud-based services. Not all features of the HP AI Companion may be available offline, as it often relies on internet connectivity for full functionality.
For offline use, you may be limited to certain non-network-dependent features. Yes. After you sign in to HP AI Companion, you can use the Ask and Analyze assistants in on-device mode, as well as any other local capabilities of the app without the internet. When your PC is offline, cloud capabilities are disabled. If you encounter issues, make sure your HP Omnibook 5 AI PC has the latest updates both in the HP AI Companion software and in Windows 11. Check if any settings within the HP AI Companion need adjustment for better offline performance.
