HP Recommended

Howdy. I bought these Backbeat FIT 6100 headphones about 4 months ago from Walmart and was really enjoying using them for my workouts. Today, they wouldn't power on. Nothing I did made any difference. HP Customer Support told me to throw them away but was wondering if anyone in the community might know a way for me to save them?
