Hello dear community,

A few days ago, this still worked: accepting and ending incoming calls with a button press on the headset. Currently, this no longer works.

Used software versions:

  • Client for Phone System 16.3.0.264
  • Plantronics Hub 3.25.0, Build 37131

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Best regards,
Daniel

PS: Does anyone know how to disable the "Answering Call" notification?

Hi Daniel1216,
Welcome to HP Poly community!

Enable Call control feature:
1. Open the Poly Lens app on your computer.

  • Click on the "Headsets" tab.
  • Select your Poly Voyager 4300 UC headset from the list.
  • Click on the "Buttons" tab.
  • Make sure that the "Attend Call" and "End Call" buttons are enabled.

2. Reset the headset to factory defaults. This will erase all of your settings, but it may fix the problem with the buttons. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons at the same time for 10 seconds.
  • The headset will beep twice and then turn off.
  • Turn the headset back on and try to use the buttons again.

3. Try updating the firmware of the headset.

To disable the "Answering Call" notification:
Turn on your headset and make sure it is paired with your device.

  1. Open the Poly Lens app on your device.
  2. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap General.
  4. Scroll down and find the Answering Call Alert setting.
  5. Tap the toggle switch to turn off the Answering Call Alert setting.
  6. Tap Apply.

If you are still having issues with the buttons, contact Poly support for further assistance.

Hi Prajwal,
thank you for the response!
Before I do that I want to ask if Poly Lens is necessary or better or same as Plantronics Hub or do I need both?
Kind regards

Daniel

Hi Daniel1216,

You need not have to use both the applications. It is suggested to use the Poly lens application as is better than the Plantronics Hub.

Hi Prajwal,

ok, so I installed Poly Lens, but cannot find a "Buttons" tab. In the settings there is only "Language, general, ringtones, Wireless, Advanced, Reset Device", but nowwhere can  I find "Attend Call" and "End Call" buttons. Also Resetting didn´t help.

Am I overseeing something?

This is what it looks like for me. It seems there is no "Buttons" tab.
