Even with the microphone volume in Windows 11 at 100%, the input volume from my Poly Focus headset is very low. This is the case whether connecting to my HP desktop PC or my HP laptop, so I suspect it is either an issue with the headset or Windows 11. I have tried all the usual "fixes" such as reinstalling device drivers. The troubleshooters from Microsoft and HP could not detect the issue, but when I run the microphone test in Windows under Sound, the volume level reported is only about 4%.

Hello, @derekt, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the Poly Voyager Focus headset.

Could you please try with any other mobile phone or any other PC with Windows 10 and let me know if the issue still persists?

I learned today that the Poly Focus headset works much better when paired to a BT600 USB dongle than it does when paired to the native Bluetooth adapter in a PC or laptop. Today I installed a BT600 dongle in the USB port of my HP desktop PC and updated it with the latest firmware. There has been an improvement in microphone audio volume as a result. I will continue to monitor the audio quality with this improved configuration.

@derekt Thank you so much for the update.

We recommend you use the headset with the BT600 USB dongle, as it enhances the headset audio quality, and all the features can be used to the fullest extent.
