Hello,

I utilize my Voyager Focus UC Headset for the last several years and until recently it has worked with no problems. Within the last 6 months my office has updated our Cisco IP phones from a older version (that looked like it was over 10 years old) to the most recent Cisco IP 8861 model. Prior to the change, i was utilizing my Focus UC with the older version via the MDA220 USB hub connected to my computer and line in/out on the desk phone. Since the upgrade, i switched to using the Bluetooth function on the newer model of the Cisco IP 8861 to clear up some desk space from the hub. I still have the hub, but would prefer to not use it.

Since the change, I've had multiple people tell me that the voice quality was not good. For a while I thought it was due to the person's Zoom/Webex connection, come to find out the other day over a normal phone call a person told me I was sounding gurgly/robotic. I decided to turn the headset off and use the handheld from the phone and instantly the individual said that was much better. Leading to my determination that all along it was me and not them....

Has anyone else had this problem or know how I could fix this to avoid this issue going forward?

Thank you ahead of time,

Phil
