Hi @cnoble0154

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so, here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊

I understand you're facing an issue where your Poly Voyager 5200 headset mutes unexpectedly. Let's work through a few steps to resolve this:

Recommended Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Update Firmware via Poly Lens

    • Download and install the Poly Lens app on your PC.
    • Connect your headset and check for firmware updates.
    • Keeping your firmware up to date ensures optimal performance and bug fixes.
  2. Disable or Reset Smart Sensors

    • In the Poly Lens app, go to Settings > Sensors.
    • Try disabling the Wearing Sensor feature, which can sometimes cause unintended muting.
    • Alternatively, reset the sensors to default settings.
  3. Check Default Audio Device

    • On your PC, go to Sound Settings.
    • Ensure the Voyager 5200 is set as the default input and output device.
    • Also, check your softphone or communication app (e.g., Teams, Zoom) to confirm the headset is selected.
  4. Perform a Full Reset

    • In the Poly Lens app, navigate to Settings > Reset Device.
    • This will restore the headset to factory defaults, which can resolve persistent issues.
  5. Try a Different USB Port or Bluetooth Adapter

    • If you're using a USB Bluetooth dongle (like BT600 or BT700), try a different port or test on another PC to rule out hardware conflicts.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved, and if you feel this reply was helpful, click “Yes”.
