Seen in a different, more normal surrounding light, I now realise that the yellow tint does also affect the sub-Windows layer. So my answer to
'Is the yellow tint visible also on the HP logo, BIOS settings or Diagnostics screen?'
would today be a 'yes'.
If I understand Jupitero's answer properly, he gave tips what to do if only the Windows layer is affected. So what would I have to do to 'intervene' into the BIOS/UEFI (I would assume), to get the aberration sorted there?

Hi again,
Different panels have different characteristics and color temperatures where some may be cool (bluish) or warm (yellowish). Similarly, color temperature may be observed on lamps, which are rated with specific temperatures, measured in Kelvins.
Comparing color temperatures must be done in identically lighted environment.
Your original post was titled "Got my screen exchanged, but without adapting it to the laptop (exotic country) -".
Was the panel exchanged with identical panel?
According to HP documentation there are 3 different panels for Probook 440 G4: one type for touch panels and two different panels with different screen resolutions (HD and FHD). HP does not specify the panel color temperatures, only the panel brightness (220 nit), viewing angle and color space (45% RGB) - all of which point to cheap panels.
If the panel was replaced with identical panel, then I would expect them both have the same white point and color temperature and I cannot explain the difference unless the replacement panel was sourced from another panel manufacturer or it is faulty - I would recommend raising an issue with the party that replaced the panel.
To answer your question:
As far as I know, the calibration data cannot be saved into the panel itself outside of factory.
Are you not satisfied with the calibration results in Windows?
