HP Thunderbolt G2 Docking Station
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HO Thunderbolt G2 docking station without the AC adapter.  Can the AC adapter from my HP Elitebook 850 G7 be used to power the docking station so I don’t need to buy another separate supply for the docking station?  Do they both use the same connector and same power ratings?

No, it only has 65W charger and the Thunderbolt G2 Docking Station requires at least 100W  to work.

Regards.

Thanks for the feedback.  I was able to find the correct Docking Station on OfferUp, and for a great price!  Really happy with it!  And it came with its own (correct) power supply.  All is right with the world!
