Hi!
I'm using ProBook 450 G9 with Linux. Current BIOS version is latest - U85 Ver. 01.06.00.
Currently I have Linux kernel 6.1 but the same is reproducible on earlier kernels (5.10 and 5.15). Namely, I get these errors in dmesg:
[428643.854393] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT, Index (0x0000000FF) is beyond end of object (length 0x12) (20220331/exoparg2-393)
[428643.854447] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.GINF due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)
[428643.854463] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.GADR due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)
[428643.854474] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.SGOV due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)
[428643.854484] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PC00.I2C1.TPL0.WOTE due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)
[428643.854496] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PC00.LPCB.EC0._Q0A due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)
This happens regulary (several times per hour). Logs clearly state that it is a BIOS bug. Is it going to be fixed in the future updates? Is there any way to report this issue to HP more officailly than this forum?
