HP ENVY m7-u009dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I notice how there is no topic abou this nor any categories about this.

I recently bought this laptop HP Envy m7-u009dx and realized the battery is not external. I am using this laptop on a daily basis and know this laptop will die in a year or 2 because the battery is spoiled or runs out of cycles.

If that happens, what options do I have to get this battery replaced/fixed? Because currently, I am not seeing any battery for this product online.  I don't know whether to return this laptop back to the store or not.

I rather have an option of a battery available for me to replace myself, instead of shipping it to HP company with chances of there being shipping damages and constant reshipping as a result.

I appreciate it if I can get a response. I like this new laptop a lot, I just don't want to waste it for a new one in 2 years.

@dannytranvan

In time there will be more places selling it.

Hi,

   Have the same problem.  Need a battery for M7U Envy M7-U009DX.   I found a whole bunch of sellers, that seem to be all selling the same very bad quality battery.  The images mostly look exactly the same.  People complain that the batteries don't even fit. The screw holes don't line up, The wires aren't connected correctly.  The HP laptop doesnt see the battery,or the batteries don't work at all.   Many report that the ones that do work at all, fail in 3-4 months.

Can anyone recommend a seller for a battery that works and lasts more than  a few moths?

Thanks

Mike
