Hi Everyone.
I updated my laptop as it was experiencing regular crashes, and since then, the built-in front facing camera is no longer working. It doesn't work, just shows black in all apps i've tried to use it with e.g. teams, zoom, camera (app), Windows Hello facial recognition etc.
I have so far:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Camera app (no difference)
- Updated all drivers, and run diagnostics via Get Help Windows app.
- Addressed the privacy issue and the privacy switch issue (not the problem here)
- Restarted, several times.
- Get help restored the original drivers and made no difference
and I'm now completely out of options. I need my camera for meetings, and it makes no sense that it does not work. I have no additional webcams available nor attached to this device.
any help is much appreciated.

Probably it does have a lens cover, please slide the lens cover to left or right to allow the lens to "see".
Note: to the right on my machine
Regards.
