I've been having some NVMe detection problems since i opened the laptop to add 8gb of ram (i did test the ram with prime95 and it passed perfectly and i made sure to pick the right RAM, also did try to remove the newly added RAM stick)
i cannot reseat the NVMe because i don't have the right screwdriver. when i remove the battery and i wait for about 12 hours it works again maybe even for 4 days until it fails and keeps disconnecting. (somehow i have to wait for about 12 hours for it to work again and 1 hour is not enough).
So i thought it could be more of a firmware issue and maybe try to install the latest firmware before trying to do something else.
i checked my BIOS version
and i saw that theres a different version available
but i don't know if im sure its the right one (im using the HP auto detect software) because on the recommendation the update for the new BIOS software does not show up?

F.71 would be the latest one from F.69.

It doesn't seem to me that updating the BIOS would fix a problem like that.
The release notes don't indicate that it would.
Also note, that if you update to F.71, you cannot go back to an older BIOS version.
