Elitebook 2740P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot upgrade my Elitebook 2740P to any version higher than 1803.  The product name is XT936UT#ABA.  It fails with error 0xC1900101.  HP Support Assist has no updates available so the drivers are up to date .  I know it is not on the list of products that were tested with Windows 10 version 1909 but I was hoping it would work since Windows 10 version 1803 is running on it.  Has anyone managed to upgrade to 1903 or am I wasting my time with this?

OK, so HOW are you attempting the Upgrade -- using Windows Update?

I tried with both Windows Update and with a USB media.  No luck.

I don't know what research you have done on this issue -- but this thread from Microsoft has useful information:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10587/windows-10-get-help-with-upgrade-installation-errors

I tried the Microsoft suggestions and most of the suggestions on the Internet I could find.  I was hoping someone reading the forums was able to upgrade and tell me what he/she did.
