Product: HP Spectre Pro x360 G1 Convertible PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got a Prokord Docking station pd-umd05 with an upstream usb-c connection. 
Can I connect the docking station to my laptop (HP spectre pro x360 G1 convertible) by connecting the upstream usb-c connection to the mini display port of my laptop ? (I understand the power supply is going via usb-c/docking then to the mini-Display/laptop  and I don't know if the laptop can handle this).
