So I have the same issue with the bottom of my PC cracked also the same as here!  Has anyone managed to get HP to take responsibility? They called today to they wont! My pc has not moved from the desk, its a fault !

Unfortunately HP are are saying it is  "customer induced " .. which is BS !  ...  given that I haven't moved it and this issue seems to be common, they and I know that is not true, I think the best answer is AVOID HP !" 

Curry's, who sell these said to me on thee phone "its a common fault" !
