Solved!

Docking station with keyboard does not work on HP Split x2 13-g110dx flash dock ec message appears

Hp Split x2 13-g110dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having an issue where I have been in the BIOS, defaulted it using the F9 key and charged the docking station until the light goes off on the docking station. I still get the Flash Dock EC message when booting as long as the tablet and docking station are docked. Once I undock the docking station or press no to the Flash Dock EC message, the tablet boots fine. What do I need to do to resolve this? I would like to be able to get this tablet to boot with the keyboard attached so we can access the HDMI and USB ports and what not. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Firstly, let's update the bios. Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629

Next: update the Graphics driver from Device Manager:

- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Display Adapters and expand the List
- Look for Graphics driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the Graphics driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
