Hi there,
I'm working with the Elitebook 8770W Windows 10 64bit
My device manager reports missing drivers for:
Base System Device, PCI Simple Communications Controller, Udriver for "Unkwown Device"".

You need these drivers:
Base System Device
JMicron Media Card Reader Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63637.exe
PCI Simple Communications Controller
Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63661.exe
The ACPI\HPQ6000 is probably not fixable anymore on these newer builds of W10.
In any event see the solutions that used to work a few years ago:
