USB mic has stopped working on Poly 3320 headsets plugged directly to the laptop. I have another pair of the same headset with the same problem. So it is most likely laptop/driver related. The volume slider in sound settings is stuck at 0 and dragging it does not stay it defaults back to 0. The "Format" config item is also blank when it usually contains the quality.

What works - Sounds still works through the headset on both headsets plugged into the laptop (mic does not). Plugging the same headsets direct into the dock will work for both headsets for sound/mic. Wireless bluetooth headset will work for sounds/mic. Internal laptop sound/mic works.

We've tried updating BIOS, Audio drivers. Uninstalling Realtek drivers and plug 'n' play back in. We've tried methods on this thread External MIC not working - HP Support Community - 8903776.None of which have worked. My specialist has advised rebuilding the computer.
