Hello! Here is new r HP 255 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (9Y710AT) installation win 11.

I have a problem to find a driver for  PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_15E2&SUBSYS_8BA5103C&REV_01\4&12c9051d&0&0541
which is listed in devices without driver. Driver is missing after installation of all HP drivers for mentioned model. Tried to install original AMD drivers for my AMD Ryzen™ 5 7530U.

I tried also drivers from AMD adrenalin package 24.9.1 - not possible to install. This is  known problem here on forum, but previous trusted link for driver source no more exist - https://driverscollection.com/Search/PCI%5CVEN_1022%26DEV_15E2

This is AMD audio coprocessor driver. I see what microphone does not exist without driver. Very strange what driver is not published by HP.

Thanks in advance for help.

Andy

Hi, Andy:

Please read through this discussion, and the solution marked in green is what worked.

If's a different model PC, but has the exact same hardware ID as the one that you posted.

Solved: Unkown drivers - HP Support Community - 8671994

If you look at is reply on the second page, he had to browse the driver file twice to install two instances of the audio driver.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for answer. I saw that discussion before, but there was a link to non-working site driverscollection.com  and I not found site to get a driver.

You're very welcome.

Thanks for letting me know the link wasn't working.

I found a different link that does work:

AMD Audio CoProcessor Driver v.25.9.2 for Windows 10 64-bit, 11 free download

As I wrote, I tried also drivers from AMD adrenalin package 24.9.1 directory - not working. Should I try 24.9.2 ?

Sorry, download is not working. No way out here with HP.

You may as well and you can also try the driver from the Microsoft update catalog website.

The W10 driver should also work.

Microsoft Update Catalog

Use the free 7-Zip file utility to extract the driver folder from the cabinet file.

DEV.pngPaul,
I installed from Microsoft update catalog website. There are no more devices without driver.
But it seems mic does not working. Here no more ideas. I am not lucky with new HP. So many hours lost and no result, never before. Something with drivers or settings.

Hi, Andy:

See if installing the driver that I had zipped up and attached in this discussion gets the microphone (AMD Audio Device) to work.

Solved: Re: HP Envy x360. No microphone. Model #15M-EE0013DX - HP Support Community - 7707746

It has the same hardware ID.

If that doesn't work unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.

Hi @AndyURW

That's the AMD Audio CoProcessor driver. You should try installing the Realtek drivers again.

Then use 7-zip and extract it to a folder. Next, navigate to the folder \src\driver\AMDACPBus\WT64A\

and select the file amdacpbus.inf from the device manager and simply follow the installation steps.

Fix and enhancements:

- Includes the following drivers: AMD Audio CoProcessor Driver, version 6.0.0.71 Intel Smart Sound Technology, version 10.25.00.8130 Realtek Audio Driver, version 6.0.9844.1 Fortemedia Audio Effects Component Driver, version 12.1.6003.6017 Sonitude Audio Effects Component Driver, version 2.1.1.99

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp160001-160500/sp160248.exe

%amdacpbus.DeviceDesc% = ACP_3_1,PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_15E2&REV_01

amdacpbus.DeviceDesc = "AMD Audio CoProcessor"
amdacpbus.SVCDESC = "Audio Coprocessr Driver for DSP"
