Hi:

Chapter 1 of the service manual seems to have conflicting information.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

According to the service manual the notebooks with the AMD 7530U have two memory slots and support a maximum of 16 GB of memory.

However, the manual also indicates the notebook supports 16 GB memory chips.

The parts list for the notebook indicate that it comes with one 16 GB DDR4-3200 MHz memory chip.

HP PartSurfer

It would make no sense for the notebook to have two memory slots and not be able to support 2 x 16 GB of memory.

Also, the Crucial memory report for the model series indicates it will support 64 GB of memory.

You're very welcome.

You should just have to add the second 16 GB memory chip in the empty slot.
