Updated to f.31 bios. Problem still exists

HP Recommended

Updated the bios, no restarts so far. Let's hope that fixed the problem.

For anyone running Linux, here's how to do it since HP only provides .exe:

-you'll need Windows (virtual machine should work fork this) and an USB drive

-download the correct BIOS version

-run the .exe installer on windows

-after a few clicks it will give you an options to create bootable USB drive

-create bootable USB drive

-turn off your laptop if it's not already and plug in the USB

-on this laptop model hold down windows key + B and and press the power button for 2-3sec (took me a while to find this)

-the bios will start updating and the laptop will restart a few times, DO NOT SHUT DOWN THE LAPTOP WHILE IT'S UPDATING, MAKE SURE IT HAS ENOUGH BATTERY AND/OR IS PLUGGED INTO POWER.

- should take a few minutes and then you are done.

Tried this just three days after your post, @Domen22. Since upgrading to F.31, I've been random-reboot-free.

I agree after weeks there have been no resets even when virtualisation is turned on. It seems bios f31 finally fixes the issue.
